Sing As One – Octavo

Description

During the pandemic, I composed a song to be premiered virtually by One Voice Chorus. I paraphrased several of their responses to the prompt “why do you sing?”

This moving, lyrical ballad is scored for SSATTBB chorus with piano accompaniment.

It was premiered virtually in August of 2020, and live in April 2023.

I have also created an orchestrated version for piano and string quintet.
